The Roumillat family has been in business in Charleston, SC since about 1779, and Roumillat's Auction was established two hundred years later in 1979. Regular public auctions are held twice a month on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays at 10:00am. These auctions primarily consist of liquidations of local estates. The auction begins at 10am with the best of the Antiques, Collectibles, and Quality Furniture being offered at ABSOLUTE Auction. At 3:00pm we sell the normal Household Goods, tools, etc. Very rarely will one find an item being sold with a reserve price that must be met. Instead Roumillat's is proud that over 99.99+% of the 600 to 1,100 lots offered at each auction are sold to the highest bidders.
